Audit veriying the accordance of PKO BP Finat's activities with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001: 2005

In march 2012 the company has undergone audit to confirm its operating on the basis of information security management system, in accordance with the the standard ISO/IEC 27001:2005.

Due to the positive result the company has been certified by the ISO/IEC27001: 2005 no IS 537713 in the range of:  pension funds services, investment funds services, IT, mailing, call center, scanning and archiving services.

ISAE3402 Type II Report

PKO BP Finat sp. z o.o. passed an audit of control mechanisms related to the transfer agent services for investemnt funds and pension funds for the period from November 1, 2010 to October 31, 2011 and investment funds accounting services for the period from May 1, 2011 to October 31, 2011.

Audit ended in receiving the report of independent service auditor, concerning implemented controls and the results of tests performed.

Agreement with GO TFI SA on the service of a new Fund

In July 2011, PKO BP Finat sp. z o.o. signed an agreement with GO TFI SA for accounting services of GO FUND 1 Private Assets closed-end investment fund. This is the next fund offered by GO TFI SA, that the company has entrusted service to Finat.

Agreement for keeping the accounts of funds

In July 2011 SovereignnFund TFI entrusted PKO BP Finat the service of a new Fund: Corvus Private Assets closed-end investment fund.

The range of services includes keeping the accounts of the Fund, valuation of the assets of the Fund, preparing reports and statements.

On 16 February 2011 PKO BP Finat sp. z o.o. signed an agreement with MCI Capital TFI S.A. on the service of Internet Ventures closed-end investment fund.

SAS 70 Type II

PKO BP Finat sp. z o.o. has successfully completed a certification audit according to the standard SAS 70 Type II, which was confirmed by a positive opinion of the independent auditor on the Report prepared by the Company.
Report SAS 70 Type II confirms the effectiveness of control mechanisms operating within the Company during the audited period.
A study conducted by the auditor based on the analysis and testing of operational effectiveness of control mechanisms and on the evaluation of effectiveness of the existing system of internal control.
The effectiveness of control mechanisms is subject to periodic review by the auditor.

Agreement on the service of closed-end investment funds

On 21 October 2010 PKO BP Finat sp. z o.o. signed an agreement with SovereignFund TFI S.A. on the service of closed-end investment funds:

- LRG subfund.

SAS70 certificate

 

On the basis of the report SAS 70 Type I, prepared by PKO BP Finat sp. z o.o., we received a certificate of compliance with the international standard of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, SAS 70 Type I.
This confirms that selected mechanisms and controls in processes of investment funds and pension funds services, implemented by Finat, have been reviewed by an independent auditor.

Agreement on the transfer agent's services

Audit of Information Security Management System passed successfully

On 23th and 24th march 2010r. BSI Management Systems Poland Sp. z o.o. conducted an audit of the compliance of Information Security Management System with the requirements of ISO27001: 2005 in PKO BP Finat sp. z o.o.
Certificate for PKO BP FINAT Ltd. has been extended for another year. According to the Auditor, Information Security Management System in PKO BP Finat sp z o.o. is well-designed, prepared and implemented.

Leader in Informatics of the Financial Institutions 2009

We are pleased to inform that the systems developed and used by PKO BP Finat Sp. z o.o. received recognition and became a contribution to granting PKO Bank Polski SA honorable title "Leader in Informatics of the Financial Institutions 2009", awarded by Gazeta Bankowa.

Receiving this award is a confirmation of the validity of our solutions and motivation for further development of our products. This is for the benefit of our current and future customers that we constantly improve and expand the functionality of our systems to offer technologies and services at the highest level.

Board of our company stresses that it is particularly important that the prize was awarded in the category 'Trading Systems', where the system of PKO BP Finat Sp. z o.o. competed with solutions prepared by specialized companies engaged in the production of computer banking systems.

Agreement on the transfer agent's services and agreement for keeping the accounts of funds

On 30 November 2009 PKO BP Finat sp z o.o. signed following agreements with MCI Capital TFI SA:

• the agreement on the transfer agent's services for MCI Gandalf Active Allocation Specialized Open Investment Fund,
• the agreement on keeping the accounts of MCI Gandalf Active Allocation Specialized Open Investment Fund,

Agreement on the service of specialist open investment fund

On 27 October 2009 PKO BP Finat sp. z o.o. signed an agreement with the Investment Funds Company AGRO SA on the service of Specialist Open Investment Fund AGRO Capital on Development.

The agreement includes bookkeeping, valuation of the assets of the Fund, estimating the rights and obligations, in a way that enables estimating the net asset value of the Fund, for each appraisal day and each balance day, drawing up the documentation necessary to prepare the financial statements of the Fund.

Change of the Company’s name
 

On 30 June 2009 the Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting passed a resolution on the change of the Company's name: PKO BP Finat Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (short name: PKO BP Finat sp. z o.o.). Changes will be entered in the register of entrepreneurs.

Expiration of a term of office of the Company’s Management Board

Ordinary Meeting of Shareholders on 15 April 2009 approved the Company's financial statements for 2008 and Report on the activities of the Company for 2008 and granted a vote of acceptance to Members of the Management Board of the discharge of their duties in 2008.
That day ended the term of office of the Company’s Management Board. Members of the Board of the next term of office shall be appointed by the Company's Supervisory Board.

Audit of Information Security Management System

On 13 March 2009 BSI Management Systems Poland Sp. z o.o. conducted a compliance audit that verified the Information Security Management System in the Company with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2005 and procedures.
During the audit there were no discrepancies declared and the audited areas were considered to be effective.

Changes in the shareholders

On December 11, 2008 the National Court Registry made an entry in the register of entrepreneurs of recent changes in our company. One of the changes was to increase the amount of sharecapital to 9,461,000.00 PLN.

New shareholders structure:
Inteligo Financial Services SA - 80.3% (76 000 shares with a total value of 7,600,000.00 EUR)
PTE BANKOWY SA - 19.7% (18 610 shares with a total value of 1,861,000.00 EUR)

Certification of Information Security Management System

"Finanse-Agent Transferowy" Sp. z o.o. received the Certificate of Information Security Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2005 in a range of:  pension funds services, investment funds services, IT, mailing, call center, scanning and archiving services.

Since then the company is subject to annual audits carried by the supervisory, once every 3 years there are audits to renew the certificate. The audits verify PKO BP Finat's activity and maintenance of information security system in accordance with the requirements of the standard of ISO27001: 2005 in the scope of the certificate. Every audit since 2008 positively verified fulfilling by the company the requirements of the aforementioned standard.

The company is safe

"Finanse-Agent Transferowy" Sp. z o.o. is a safe company as it makes the information security its priority. The company holds regular training courses in Information Security. The latest internal training session took place on April 18, 2008 followed by a comprehension test on April 24, 2008. All the employees showed good knowledge of the information security regulations. Therefore the company organized a follow-up contest with two winning finalists. Congratulations!
